Founder

Joe Dan Kendrick

Joe Dan is a West Texas native third-generation tile supply owner with deep roots in the flooring and building industry. He holds an associates degree in drafting and earned his bachelor’s degree from Hardin-Simmons University (2005).

An avid reader of spiritual development and theology, he can be found with his nose in a book, fishing, camping, or building something with power tools. He is actively involved in serving his church and regularly travels to Ethiopia on short-term mission trips, where he values building relationships and giving back through service.

Tyler Kendrick

Tyler works alongside customers and contractors to help them find the right products for their projects. He brings a hands-on, practical approach and enjoys building real relationships with the people he serves.

Tyler earned his bachelor’s degree from Hardin-Simmons University in 2021 and has been working with his dad since 2012. When he’s not at work, he enjoys playing guitar, skiing, woodworking, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his new bride Shelby.

Emmalie Kendrick

Emmalie helps keep Black Lion Tile Supply organized and welcoming. She enjoys supporting customers and making sure daily operations run smoothly.

Emmalie earned her bachelor’s degree from Hardin-Simmons University in 2025. In her free time, she loves painting and drawing, reading, gardening, sewing, and eating sushi.
